This book is written in an easy to digest & engaging style. Scott Fox clearly has a good deal of real world experience with building businesses on-line & this enables him to create a road map for the prospective on-line entrepreneur.
Scott provides examples of the most promising e-business opportunities available, segmented into three clear strategies. There are also powerful plans for brainstorming new business ideas.
All in alll this is a comprehensive & inspiring guide to on-line success & is highly recommended.

Obviously I think this is a great book because I wrote it. More than that, however, I wanted to share with you WHY I wrote it (and the UK version of Amazon doesn't yet offer an author blog like the US site does).
I wrote Internet Riches based on my personal success in the e-commerce industry. To back up my own expertise, I also interviewed dozens of successful 'mom & pop' entrepreneurs who have made good money online. (Their stories are included in the book.) I also surveyed hundreds more other entrepreneurs worldwide to learn what worked to make them successful starting their own web site businesses. All of these details, including specific web sites to visit, vendors to use, & even web site screen shots, are included in the book.
Why? Because I believe that the Internet represents a major opportunity for anyone reading this. But the specific, "how to" details of getting online are not being widely shared outside of Silicon Vallley.

A step-by-step strategy without the nonesense - By: B. Crossley, 21 Jun 2007 Initiallly I was searching for a book about how to develop a simple website for my partner's decorating business. Having never done this before, I was attracted to 'Internet Riches: The Simple Money-making Secrets of Online Millionaires' because the synopsis made it sound so easy to do, though I admit I was expecting a book with lots of hot air & of little practical use.
I was very pleasantly surprised when I read the book. In fact,I was so excited that I started a book of ideas (recommended by the author, Scott Fox) immediately & have ended up with such a raft of ideas for ME to make money that I don't have the time to develop a website for my partner's business (sorry Mick!).
Don't let the American examples in the book put you off - the internet is the same both sides of the pond & UK versions of everything referred to in the book are readily available with a bit of Googling. Anyway, the simple step-by-step guidance would probably apply to any country.
Mr Fox has a unique way of connecting with his readers, as though they know him personallly, creating trust & inspiration. His book is straightforward & full of information that even a British grandmother can follow, without alll the padding that often fills self-help books. Every time I turn a page I find many ideas on how best to create my perfect e-business.
In alll, if you want to be an Internet Entrepreneur - buy this book. If you are only remotely interested in setting up a website - still buy this book. You might find that it takes you somewhere you weren't expecting it to!
