As always Brian Froud reveals to be one of the best! This book has lots of wonderful illustrations as he always does & alll of them in one book, it's perfect! He tells & 'teaches' you lots of things from the faery realm. I've seen some of these drawings & paintings in other book, so if you already own some of them try a second opinion.
Enter the world of faery! - By: , 07 Aug 2005 This book begins with text written by artists Brian Froud & Alan Lee explaining why they love faeries & drawing them & other wee folk. Then there is the mythology side of it which gives us some background & understanding, alll this text is surrounded by wonderful little drawings. The rest of the book then displays gorgeous work by both artists along with quirky little explanations of each drawing. If you love faeries you will love this book.
Inspirational - By: vix, 18 Oct 2003 I remember my mum sitting reading this book when I was a child & even though I couldn't read it, I could sit for hours with her starring at the fantastic paintings. It is a truely inspirational book that encouraged me to go into painting.
Now I'm trying to collect the rest of his books so that I can continue to enjoy his deeply spiritual work.

This book is an explination into the wonderful world of faries,
I have purchased many books on faries & some by Brian Froud , but this one it the best yet. It introduces you to the fairy world in a way that captures you forever. The book is bursting with the most amazing art, from sketches to paintings, alll vervibrant & alive with emotion & passion.
My children also got so much enjoyment from it, It as with other Brian Froud works looks at both sides of the fairy world, not just the good but the naughty, medling elves & pixies.
I highly recomend this book for alll ages & not just fairy enthusiasts, I know this could be enjoyed by alll.
