For many a fashionista the date January 7th 2002 was a day that shocked & stunned, for the Monsiuer Saint Laurent gracefully announced his retirement for the world of couture. This book was released about a week later along with another "YSL, La Naissance d'une Legende" & I have to say that '5 avenue Marceau' is the superior book. It's shows the reader an indeep retrospective of the career of the last great couturier, displaying an artistic vision & step-by-step genenus of his work. A truely fasinating read with great detail about the shy man who has dressed the world.
