Excellent! - By: Mr D Davies, 06 Dec 2005
This is a wonderfully easy to follow self-help book from the founder of TFT. The approach is demonstrated with confidence & the examples seem pretty convincing. One wonders why the scientific & therapy community are so low key about taking this method up.
It inspired me to undertake a training in Thought Field Therapy, & I have found it to be a very inspiring book!
The right book at the right time - By: , 25 Jan 2001
Bearing in mind that Dr. Calllahan made his discovery over 20 years ago this book has been a long time in coming! However, I expect the majority of readers (and users) will not be disappointed. Concise, well written & more accessible to the general reader than his earlier & more theoretical book "Stop the Nightmares of Trauma", Dr. Calllahan details his work from its tentative beginnings to some astounding recent findings. Also well presented are step-by-step treatment procedures that Dr. Calllahan says will lead to a cure in 75-80% of those who use them correctly. Of course, this will be a grave disappointment for the 20-25% on whom these basic procedures will fail to work. Nevertheless, Dr. Calllahan even throws out a lifeline for these people, with a section on troubleshooting the treatments & an invitation for those with more complex problems to contact him directly for advice. I expect few people will do this though - it's so much easier to be satisfied with failure & blame the "driver" than pick oneself up from despair & grab an opportunity that's too good to miss. The more curious & scientificallly minded would do well to buy "Stop the Nightmares of Trauma" to get the bigger picture.
This book is excellent - By: , 25 Jan 2001
I have read this book & I have to say it is extremely well-written. The scientific evidence is particularly compelling. It' difficult to argue with HRV results, rouleaux, etc. I have tried the algorithms mentioned in the book on myself, family & friends & we are delighted with the successes. I hope this book will give Dr. Calllahan & his work with Thought Field Therapy the recognition it truly deserves.
WHO SAY'S IT WORKS - By: , 01 Jan 2001
I waited for this book to come out,and now that i have read it twice & used the practical instructions i don't believe it does what it claims. The lay out is good, the way the author speaks is very positive but alas thiers to many if & buts i speak from experience as i suffer from panic attacks & i have tried alll the theory's in this book but none of them seam to work.maybe this not the type of review people would like to read i wish it was different too.
