A book to study rather than read... - By: , 21 Aug 2002
A great book for anyone looking for a greater insight into the Apostle Paul's ministry & the meaning of his epistles. Using historical, contextual & spiritual guidance G Fee takes the reader deep into the world of the early church & especiallly focuses on the absolute nessesity for Christians to utilise both the Holy Spirit & the Word in our quest to grow into the people that God wants us to be. The book is so dense with information it can be a little tough going at times, this however is not a bad thing as it simply means that you can get more & more from it every time you read, & re-read it. A must for any Christian looking for a greater understanding of the Holy Spirit, & Pauls knowledge & experience of it.
A selection of short essays and observations. - By: , 02 Aug 2001
Interesting, provocative & stimulating. Fee is a top ranking scholar with a light touch. These gleanings (some previously published elsewhere), cover a wider range than other books of his I have used or read. Clear, penetrating & insightful - a good read !
