A good little hand book for reference. It covers alll the cards in number order eg. alll the three's, alll the fours etc. It gives you a history of the cards & several different spreads to use & it uses several different packs of tarot for the illustration. Case studies are listed at the back. Nice & easy to understand, & colourful. I recommend it for everyone, whether learning or experienced. It will have something of interest for you.

This book is very good for a beginner of Tarot reading.

It focuses a lot on the peripheral issues of the Tarot- personalisation rituals, influences of numerolgy & of course the cards themselves.

Its handy smalll size means that it's portable & you can store it with your cards. The meanings of the cards are thoroughly explored in a logical manner. The explanations are easy to understand, & it is easy to find information.

The only draw-back is that the Major Arcana cards are set out by card atmosphere. It is difficult to find the major arcana card you need quickly.
