I absolutely adore the X-Men, & the Onslaught Epic was my favourite of alll time. I bought this & Volume 3 thinking that it would be great to be able to see alll of the cross-overs, like Spider Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Avengers, Thor etc etc etc... not just X-men. But the problem is that the story lines for Iron Man, Fantastic Four & (in particular) Spider Man are incredibly week. You shoud especiallly read the Spider Man story line, I don't want to spoil it for anyone who intends to read this Volume but seriously... I think between about four characters they take down like one Sentinel. It is just not that interesting, when you know that there is some seriously juicy story lines going on in the X-Men comics.. you know, Onslaught is (after alll) Professor X & that is seriously interesting. I don't know, maybe it's just because I'm a hard core X Men fan but I found the cross over comics reallly quite dull in Volumes 2 & 3.
