It starts with a section entitled "Python in an Hour", which takes you through alll of the key concepts of Python, before moving on to a complete reference of the Python language. The remaining chapters run through just about everything you could want to do with the language, from the basics such as strings, file I/O & regular expressions through to databases, XML & graphics.
I decided to learn Python by rewriting my old Perl & shell scripts, & this book contained everything I needed to know.
I strongly recommend this book, & the Python language to any programmers.
