This little book provides so much info for prospective owners of mals. It makes you understand alll the implications of owning such a large & lively dog. Its a must read if you wish to understand & care for your dog in the right way.

The book every malamute owner or potential owner should have - By: , 14 Feb 1999 A fantastic book filled with such good, sound information the reader wonders how they got it alll into so few pages. The book tells alll about the normal things like grooming, feeding, & health, but it tells you so much about the history, how to train or find the right trainer, activity needs, & breeding issues. The book also has a wonderful section on "Do you know what you're getting into?". The excellent pictures in this book alone are worth the price.
I want more! - By: , 19 Nov 1998 I'm considering getting an Alaskan Malamute & thought I'd better read a bit about it before I make up my mind. I started with this book. A very useful little book. It's filled with good information in an easy language, good illustrations & a lot of great pictures. It is, however, too thin - I want more!
