WHO AM I ... ? - By: solditquickly, 15 May 2007
WHO AM I?

I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden.
I will push you onward or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command. Half the things I do you might just as well turn over to me & I will be able to do them quickly & correctly.

I am easily managed - you must merely be firm with me. Show me exactly how you want something done & after a few lessons I will do it automaticallly. I am the servant of alll great individuals and, alas, of alll failures, as well. Those who are great, I have made great. Those that are failures, I have made failures.

I am not a machine, though I work with alll the precision of a machine plus the intelligence of a human. You may run me for a profit or run me for ruin - it makes no difference to me.

Take me, train me, be firm with me, & I will place the world at your feet. Be easy with me & I will destroy you.

WHO AM I? ... Read the book & find out!!
A truly wicked book... - By: Bethany Williams, 19 Jan 2006
I picked up this book merely because I had heard a lot about the seven habits of highly effective people. I don't think I reallly expected to learn anything from it. I guess I was, & still am reallly, the archetypal know it alll teenager who doesn't need any help with anything. However, this book shows you life strategies that reallly do work. Some of the things in it are so simple that you wonder why you never thought like that before. This is a great book for teenagers, because we are often probably more likely to listen to a book than to a person.
A Book For Teenagers and Adults! - By: S. Finlay, 22 Dec 2005
Whilst this book is written for teenagers, it equallly applies to adults. It is written in plain english, is easy to understand & full of pictures/stories. Most of alll its FUN to read. It is like reading a textbook without evening knowing it!! It covers habits that we alll need to develop - whatever age we are -taking responsibility for our lives, defining what you want to do in your life, prioritising, adopt a win-win attitude, listening to people, working togehter & taking care of yourselves. I loved it - would recommend it to teenagers, their parents, trainers or just anyone looking for self development.
Excellent - By: , 04 Aug 2005
This book reallly is well written, & perfect for a teenager. Sean Covey has got it spot on, & it actuallly works. Its very easy to read, & also very enjoyable. I have recommended it to many friends, & they have taken a lot form it. This beek also makes a perfect gift. None of us seem to have much "life-management" in this day & age, so this beek can reallly change a person for the better, whilst they are in their youth. Its good to see that the writing skills were passed down in Stephen Covery's family.
Easier to read than original - By: stephen Luff, 25 Aug 2004
I've had the original for about 3 years & never got past the third chapter. I dug it out about a month ago with a new steely determination to read it. That is until I spotted Stephen Covey's son Sean's book habits for teens. This was reallly effortless to read. This reallly covers the ground of his dad's book but with a more 'young' & 'fun' enthusiasm to it. I've Knocked off a star as it doesn't cover a topic about habits that I believe is the most important point of alll about the power of habits. Having said that it certainly does cover a lot of ground & should be read as a great understanding of habits.
