Useless - By: Mr. Aa Davies, 26 Jul 2007
This book has none of the details you are looking for, do not buy it. I bought my copy safe in the knowledge I would soon be able to gloat to my friends on alll the special secrets. This book has guides on how to play each class, only problem being I'd worked them out for myself. Aside from that it has a 1/3 of the book devoted to the crafting vocations, but even that is incomplete (for example no stats on what the damage of woodworker bows are). The maps are a nice idea but a little smalll & blurry, & there is NO questing information at alll. Finallly it is outdated by the new patch, lacking many basic areas & upgrades.
Stick to looking up info on supporting websites!
Not so much a strategy guide as an extended manual really... - By: A. Newman, 10 May 2007
I bought this after looking through it in a shop in town & thought it would be helpful. After an extra half an hour flick through it isn't.
What this is a more indelth guide to each race / class, & IS NOT A QUEST guide in any way. It has a nice amount of detail regarding the main game, char creation, classes etc & has maps for the current playing areas but that's it. No info on mobs, quests etc... However THAT info is advertised in & upcoming "World companion" to be released soon...KA-ching cash in time :(
So if you want help choosing your path get this...but for more in depth details get the next guide.

Very good version of Lord of the Rings brought to life - By: M. Bell, 04 May 2007
This is a very good game with a lot of detail to keep the Tolkien fans happy. The game play is quick & fun. The style does seem to come from WoW, but there is a game with a great following, maybe using a similar style will help. Questing is fun & at parts you are taken into movie based version where you have to make a difference to the story. Your result will have an effect on how you see the world around. Where other players may see builds, you may see burnt out versions. Very good.
