Good but bring on the next one!- By: Summer's Reads, 01 Oct 2008 I absolutely loved the Mercenary series, some of the characters who are featured in the first TGP book so I automaticallly bought this one.
I love how seamlessly the author introduces her characters in her different books, but I didn't feel that it worked as well here. However, there is still a feeling of meeting old friends (if you've read the other books) & I wanted to see how the characters would develop.
The lead male features in the first TGP book but was also a secondary character in the anthology Star Quality where he was working undercover but just came across as a bit of a whiner. The lead female is also a character from a previous book,The Real Deal.
If this is your first Lucy Monroe book, I would recommend you start with something else because this was just good as opposed to her other books which are excellent.
