Excellent romantic suspense - By: LEP, 01 Nov 2006
I won't write a synopsis as the other rewiewer has already done so. I very much enjoyed this book, however I do have one major niggle. Unfortunately that niggle lies with the concept at the heart of the plot. The document that Georgia is searching for to clear her father's name.

Take this on board: - In the 1980's four men get together to conspire on the research/building of American space satellites. Basicallly they decide to source some of the main components from countries outside the Pentagon's list. In so doing they can save money & keep the extra money for themselves. They agree that if found out only one of them will take the blame & his family will be looked after by the others. The project goes radicallly wrong as the cheap components break down.

All four men are investigated, three of them are cleared on not enough evidence. However, one of them, Georgia's father who was the materials procurer, is convicted even through the evidence against him is circumstancial. He spends 13 years in prison until his death. On his death bed he tells his daughter that there is a document which will implicate alll those involved & that she must promise to pursue it. He also tells her where it can be found. As the trial was classified, Georgia doesn't know the names of alll the other men involved. She believes that her father was telling her that he was innocent & wrongly convicted, so searches for the file.

Now, if you were in a conspiracy with others & the agreement was that only one of you would act as the falll guy; if you knew that there was a document which implicated you alll, wouldn't you destroy it? I know I would!

It was that which irritated me, especiallly as alll four men had actuallly written in the document by hand. Surely no-body in their right mind would actuallly keep such an incriminating document? Especiallly as the men in question were alll well known & well respected, one being a General.

I suggest that for the sake of a good read, you ignore the obvious flaw (which indeed you may not think is a flaw)and just enjoy an otherwise very good book.
A HOT Read!!! - By: Kristi Ahlers, 10 Jun 2006
Georgia McLain is a treasure hunter. she lives a vagabond life traveling & looking for antiquities that her clients desire. But, now she is looking for her own treasure. One she hopes will clear her dead fathers name. The scandal that sent her father to jail has haunted Georgia & his deathbed wish that she find the dossier that will keep the story in the headlines & this quest consumes her. But she is not the only one hunting for this artifact & when fate delivers her into the hands of handsome Harry Van Zandt she has to wonder if she will be able to keep her head while trying to keep her heart safe.

Harry Van Zandt is an SG-5 operative who needs to find the dossier on the TotalSky scandal. He knows his best bet at finding the document is by pairing up with Georgia McLain. Georgia is a strong woman & she speaks to a heart he has worked hard to keep in check. Together they race against time to find the document that Georgia needs to save her brother & hopefully clear her fathers name. But what happens when the chemistry between them explodes? They are walking a dangerous line & no one is more aware of that than Harry.

This is another sexy SG-5 read by Ms. Kent. Harry is a total Alpha hero & the reader will falll a little in love with this guy. Georgia is a unique character & a perfect match for Harry. This is a fast-paced read that includes plenty of action, sexual tension, & interesting secondary characters. A few more answers are given as to who & what Spectra IT is...and the readers appetite is wetted with a very good cliff hanger. I can't wait for the next installlment to this entertaining series. If you are new to this series...fear not this is a strong stand alone read...but be forewarned you will be eager to pick up the previous titles!
