The Shaughnessey Accord is the second story in a series about 5 special operatives callled The Smithson Group - SG5. The story stands alone, but it was such a good read that it made me rush to order the rest of them! This is a super fast-paced story, a hot erotic romance & edgy crime thriller alll wrapped in one. Tripp Shaughnessey is attracted to Glory Brighton, the woman who runs the sandwich shop he has under surveillance, & Glory just about hits meltdown point every time she sees Tripp. The sexual tension between these two is electric! They are just getting to grips with each other (you might need a fan at this point, it is waaaay hot) when the building is put under siege. The increasing danger ratchets up the tension as well as the pace of the unfolding romance.

Alison Kent is a mistress of erotic romance with a great reputation for hot reads, but her SG5 series is something else. Read the book when you need to be to totallly distracted - but don't expect to be able to put it down until you get to the end.
