one of the most useful books on hypnosis and hypnotherapy - By: Lee the Book Lover, 28 Dec 2006
C.Roy Hunter worked with Charles Tebetts one of the godfathers of modern day hypnosis. I would recomend the fist book the Art of hypnotherapy & also this book. I think they are two great books & I reallly believe that whilst the books recomend taking a course in hypnosis that you can "get the hours in" by working gently with friends & family. It also helps you to get an understanding of hypnotherapy if you can find a good hypnotherapist to get rid of a habit before you start. One session & these books are worth more than the thousands of dollars that you will pay for a course in London. I have been invited to numerous courses & still believe these 2 books are far more informative & a lot cheaper, also you pick up no bad habits of the trainer of a course.
Good "all round information" - By: Ozzie, 17 Dec 2005
I am just discovering hypnosis! This book is written in an easy to understand way. You could write encyclopedias full of info about hypnosis, obviously this book only touches on aspects of Hypnosis & focuses one the style of Charles Tebbits. All the info is useful & will help you to learn how to "actuallly" hypnotise people.
You're getting sleepy... - By: filthmonkey, 15 Jul 2004
You are getting very sleepy....very sleepy....BUY THIS BOOK....sleepy...you feel your eyes closing & your body
relaxing every little muscle, except your arm....which
slowly reaches for the credit card....
A Self-study guide in hypnotherapy - By: Mr. P. A. King, 30 Apr 2002
Following on from his first book - The Art of Hypnosis, this book covers more of the therapeutic aspects of hypnosis, using the skills of his mentor Charles Tebbetts. Again as with his first volume this is laid out in an easy to follow lecture style. This book is written & aimed at those who are studying the therapeutic aspects of hypnosis & in places gets quite technical if you have not got some understanding of hypnotherapy & its tools. A good self study guide that can be used alongside a training course.
