If you ever buy a parenting book this is the gospel! Margot is warm, down-to-earth & realistic! I was lucky enough to go to one of her lectures & she spoke with such passion I was captivated.

This book has some genuine & valuable core scientific insights, so I recommend it for that reason. Beyond this I feel that there is a significant amount of creative extrapolation couched in scientific terms - interesting & logical, but possibly lacking in rigorous scientific evidence.
I feel that she does parents & herself a gross disservice by almost completely dismissing breastfeeding from her discussions of the physical & psychological development of both infant & child.

We have gained valuable insights into parent/child relationships & child behaviour from this book, which you can reallly feel working in practice. This book has offered great support & has empowered us to be effective parents.

Certain suggestions in the book might seem difficult to act upon, but never impossible. A little bit of parental patience will make your child a confident & a responsible young man/woman. While going through the book you will realize how true each & every stated finding is.
It says about handling a smalll baby as well as toddlers. I would suggest this book to alll new parents & to the parents who have some behavioural issues with their children.
