A very easy to read book on what to expect of your toddler-I'm always referring to this. An excellent read.

Ths book is not actuallly BY Tanya Byron, she is the ''Editor In Chief'', which means someone else has compiled it, she has just edited it, & leant her very commercial name to what is a largely standard book on child development, but nonetheless written in a typical Byron-esque, accessible, style.
There are a few useful snippets of advice/ info in there, but if you have any of her other books you'll have them alll (and more besides) already.
There are also some well-respected classic child developmental norm books out there already, like Mary Sheridan's Birth to Five Years.
This book is neither ''helpful'' enough to be a true bible for parents looking for child rearing advice, nor ''detailed'' enough for those wanting a good solid account of child developmental norms, as & such feels like it lacks any real substance or credibility.
If you are a fan of Dr Tanya like myself, you may be tempted to buy this book on the weight of her name alone - but your money is better spent elsewhere.

I don't understand why this book got such a high rating, it didn't help at alll.
