That said the exercise plans do work they just take an awful lot longer than than the book estimates. The worst offender is the bulking up section which has a ridiculous amount of sets. (If you do wish to bulk up try the body for life programme instead.)
One day I'd love to see Matt Roberts actuallly attempt to do anyone of these programs in the time he has specified. Even in an empty gym he would be hard pressed to do it - in one that is at alll busy it would be impossible.
