Great Book - By: , 19 Aug 2003
Sometimes when you read a number of books by the same author, you know that you will be disappointed. There always seems to be one book written for commercial reasons. But with Jonathan Kellerman that hasn't been the case. The Devil's Waltz is reallly well written, a strong story line, & sub-plots arising from beneath the surface. It keeps you guessing right up until the end. Well worth reading.
An excellent psychological thriller - By: bobb@bobbs-bookmark.com, 18 Nov 2000
A couple are thrown into turmoil because of the suffering of their little girl. They have already lost one child, & it looks like they may lose Cassie as well. She spends more time in hospital than out. The doctor is thinking the worst, but needs an independent assessment to back up her findings. The only problem is that Cassie's Grandfather is the Chairman of the Board at the hospital. All the evidence points to the fact that someone is deliberately hurting her, & the finger is being pointed at Cassie's mother. Read it .. it's worth the time.

Sloooow starter!! - By: , 13 Jul 1999
This was the 3rd book I read of the Delaware series. I was very unentertained with the introduction. I think if the introduction would have been shorter it wouldn't have been so easy to put it down in the beginning. When the climax finallly arrived it held my interest the rest of the book. I hadn't heard of Munchausen syndrome by proxy before so that helped keep my interest. This book has you playing detective in your own mind while you read only to find out in the end that you better keep your day job. It was written good on the terminology lingo, you didn't yearn for a medical dictionary to be able to pronounce the lingo. It is a good book if you can force yourself to keep reading during the introduction.
