found this story a little difficult to follow initallly as it was a tadge boring & confusing. At one point I nearly put the book away however as I dont like giving up half way through I finished the book . I must say towards the end it grabbed my attention & my concentration lifted although I would not pass this on to my daughter as I do with alll my other books. Nothing like the title suggests

I am sorry to disagree with most of the reviewers here, however I found this book painfully annoying, tedious & stupid. It's almost like slapstick comedy if you enjoy that sort of thing. The central character plays the part of a complete moron. And when the main character grates on your nerves the whole book through, & other characters deserve nothing more than a good stomping on - which of course they never get - I'd say it's time to give the book a miss.
There is way to much background mumbo jumbo - in fact I'd go so far as to say there's more mumbo jumbo than dialogue & action. I kept skipping those bits if for no other reason than they were mind numbingly boring. I am amazed at the positive reaction to this book, but I'm afraid in this case, I'm going to be the odd one out.

I first read this book a couple of years ago & found it reallly good fun. It's the kind of book you can come back to & read again & again. It will still make you smile! Well worth reading.

I love Polly!!! - By: , 20 Feb 2004 On reading this book, Polly gets into your head. She became my new best friend. She is a wonderful character & made me laugh out loud so many times, it got a little embarrassing!! Read this book for smiles, laughs & a great love story with plenty of ups & downs!!
