Another Jill Mansell Winner - By: S. Firth, 03 Feb 2008
I'm on a Jill Mansell mission! Over Christmas, thanks to my lovely sister, I came to own ALL of her books (apart from the very latest one which i'm waiting for in paperback). That's how much i love her writing. Anyway, about this book...
I loved it. It's the 5th one i've read. The only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is that, to be honest the 'big mistake' didnt last long! i mean most of the book is about after the thing happens. Which isnt so bad reallly. Miranda was a reallly likeable character, infact most of them were. Apart from Greg & Daisy. Florence is a great character, & had me laughing many times. And i could totallly imagine how Danny Delancey looked. Very handsome! he's one of my fave characters. & i thought the name Fenn Lomax was great for a celebrity hair dresser! Anyway i will leave it at that & please do not hesitate to buy this book or any Jill Mansell book. (despite my review for 'fast friends' but you might like it)!
lovely lovely romcom - By: MiniN, 29 Dec 2007
This book follows Miranda & her up-and-down lovelife. just like buses, theres no men around then three come at once! watch Miranda find out her new love, Greg, pregnant wife is her new housemate. how will British racing champion, Miles Harper, fit into her life with his celebrity model/actress girlfriend? & what will Miranda do about Danny Delancy the tramp/journalist who likes to wind Miranda up?
funny funny funny, definately a book that will keep you turning the pages & loving the characters.
Not a Mistake to Read!! - By: Reedy, 26 Nov 2007
I love this book, this one is reallly my favorite from Jill, it made me laugh, cry & left me feeling warm & fuzzy, not depressed. It is a warm well written enjoyable book, & I confess that I have read it quite a few times over the years. What are you waiting for, if you have not already bought, hurry up!
I've met the real Jill - By: Mrs. Barbara Stericker, 13 Nov 2007
Having met Jill recently I was naturallly curious as to her work, although it had to be forced out of her as to what she did for a living!
All of the books I've read are so different, yet, as a true romantic, happily turn out right in the end, which is so heartwarming these days.
Miranda's is another classic!
You will NOT be dissappointed I assure you.

An Absolute Joy! - By: G. D. Lugg, 29 Jun 2007
This book is a page turning bundle of fun. I first came across Jill Mansell in one of those irritating 'take books to companies & sell 'em cheap' bundles. They were four for 5 quid so I thought I'd give them a go, reallly not expecting much. I was in for a huge surprise! All four books were funny, insightful & remarkably touching, begging me to investigate this writer further. Jill has now become one of my favourite authors. All the characters in Miranda's Big Mistake were beautifully drawn & I felt I had time for every one of them. The baddy was just that, sometimes breathtaking in his selfishness & the goodies were charming, funny & completely individual. The story leapt along, keeping me fascinated & the revenge was hilarious - highly recommended!!!
