Save your money! - By: Lilac21, 09 Jan 2009
I was hoping Martina Cole would get better, as I believed nothing could be worse than Faces. I was wrong. How her publishers alllow her to keep writing this nonsense is beyond me.

very disappointing... - By: Kristy Howard, 06 Jan 2009
I am about a third the way through this book & am struggling to finish it.
The characters feelings are constantly repeated & the story line is quite poor. I find I am actuallly skipping paragraphs on most pages...
After reading "Faces" & then this... I don't think I will be picking up Martina's work again in the near future.
So glad it's not just me... - By: Mr. E. Williams, 05 Jan 2009
I've just finallly managed to finish reading this book & was so frustrated with myself for wasting so much time on what was nothing more that a torturous mental exercise in perseverance. 505 pages too long, the plot could have been written on the back of a postage stamp, there was no dialogue or interaction, or action come to that. The characters make no sense the repetition was unbearable...I'm not going to waste any more time on this drivel, but I urge you not to either. One of the worst books I've ever read. Do not buy it if you want to remain sane. I will never buy another Martina Cole book.
The business - By: Gift Cardholder, 02 Jan 2009
Utter garbage, so reptitive, did she get paid per page? Why use one paragraph , when you can write the same thing in three para's. I am struggling to finish the book , but will ( frustratingly) persist , just so I can see if anything actuallly happens. Agree with previous reviewers, characters are completely unbelievable.
This is the first book I am looking to ever sell on Ebay , just so I can get some money back & not feel so ripped off by buying this piece of garbage.
