This is a coprehensive guide to the worlds best known cheeses. Each cheese is described in detail by country of origin,with information about method of manufacture,seasonal availability,colour, texture & taste etc. There are excellent photographs of most of the cheeses & a recipe section with ingredients & photographs of about 100 recipes. This is a definitive book on cheese & is well worth buying as a good reference book.It does not however cover the cheeses made by smalll local artisanal cheese makers for their own use or local sales.
