Well, I enjoyed it... - By: Garp, 13 Aug 2008
I found Labryinth a harmless page turner which provided ample escapism on a summer holiday.
It didn't help me with a thesis, but Kate Mosse managed to transport me to another place & time for a few welcome hours each day.
The suspense didn't keep me awake but did have me picking the book up for more.
I found the use of the French language worked well in holding the story in place.
I'm going to try Sepulchre now...
Excellent! - By: Kimbow, 13 Aug 2008
Wow some people reallly didn't like this book did they!
I reallly enjoyed it, thought it was fun to read, kept me turning the pages, made me want to visit & I liked the plot!

Funny how we are alll so different isn't it!
(The other language & translation did get on my nerves too a little bit though!)
Patchy grail quest fodder - By: Celtia, 07 Aug 2008
Not a bad book, but not a literary masterpiece either. To be quite honest, I don't think the author intended it to be other than a good, undemanding yarn....which it was. There were no huge surprises in the plot outcomes & the reader's credibility was challlenged on a number of occasions by the huge number of coincidences & the "dastardly baddie" characterisation was a bit overdone, but a good read by the pool for the holiday.
there should be a zero star option - By: Dr. R. Mootoosamy, 15 Jul 2008
Typical case of marketing over substance. i was so bored by this it felt like a lifetime before i managed to fight my way to the end. Just goes to show how the benefit of a good agent & going to the right parties can boost your sales. strictly one for the da vinci morons.
the Grail is about living its time to fulfill a truth for those who withhold its secret - By: SKYW4LKER, 14 Jul 2008
Two parts to the story but sharing the same plot at different times to withhold the secret of the Grail. Two women sharing the same purpose to follow that path of keeping the trail safe for those who would betray & kill whoever in the way. 3 books & a ring will lead the way which Alice & Alais would do the part to protect along with emotional cause with close ones who will fight for their safe purpose; Guilhem, Sajhe, & Will were their heroes.

The plot is complete & espciallly intense towards the last quarter of the book. I would have understand the meaning of the 'The Grail' adventure written this way which gave the story more depth with reason to believe the true reason one would keep to obtain 'long life' & serve its purpose to protect the secret for another generation.

I would recommend this book for those who seek reason/adventure to make out another belief of a Grail story. 3 & a half star for this.
