Great insight into the life of the legend and icon 'Jackie' - By: Marina Jagger, 15 Nov 2002
I found this book riveting. I feel the author, Barbara Leaming, has portrayed her subject with great integrity & written a very detailed & engrossing account of the life of Jackie Kennedy during the White House years (often a glossed-over period in other Jackie biogs). It sheds light on what was happening in world affairs during that period & describes perfectly the zeitgeist of the early 60's. For anyone who has never read about Jackie Kennedy but is curious I heartily recommend this book.

interesting book, not reallly recommended to long term fans on the kennedys as you'll have read better books before & this will give no new information, nor will it honestly give you any insight into how jackie handled jacks infedelity
alll the same, though tedious at times, worth borrowing off a friend
