Couldn't stop reading.... - By: Red Rose, 09 Apr 2008
This book definately is one of my favourites. The plot itself was not very complex or witty but it was such a wonderful story that left you with a very good feeling. The story, more than anything is about a mother's love & how despite alll the awful things that occur within the main character's life he finds he can rely on that. The story is also about the main character trying to remenber things that may have occured in his past that could be the reason for things that are happening in his life. We see him learn more & more about himself & at the end of the novel we are left feeling very hopeful.
I would most definately say that this novel is worth reading & if this book isn't on your bookshelf, make sure it soon is!
Brilliant - By: Deborah Page, 01 Apr 2008
Quite honestly one of the best books i have ever read (and i read a LOT!). Felt total sympathy for the main character & reading the book reallly made me stop & think. Rang my mum that very evening just to say hello! Read the book in one sitting as needed to know that everything worked out ok. Was not disappointed by the finish, a great little twist. Read this book!!
If Only........... - By: laineyf, 23 Mar 2008
This is a fantastic book. I read it & couldn't put it down til I'd finished it. It is so soul-searchingly, heart-rendingly fabulous. It is a great concept. 'What if...' is a question that haunts most of us, I think, & this book addresses that question. What if you had one more day to say alll the things you never said, to do alll the things you never did, to have the one last hug that you never had. How fantastic would that be? I cried while reading the book, & at the end, I felt absolutely drained. It is so emotional, & I know that it has made me look at my life & think about what I do & don't say to those that I love, & realise that we don't have as much time as we think, & that things shouldn't be put off for another day, just in case there is no other day. I totallly love this book, & recommend it whole-heartedly to everyone. It is beautiful.
Really great book... - By: Mrs. S. D. Williams, 22 Mar 2008
This was a great book & I found that I just couldn't put it down. Mitch Albom is a brilliant author & so far I have loved his entertaining books with his unusual "take" on life! The ending was a surprise & the story itself kept me wondering just what was going to happen right until the end! This is definately a book to read.
