The Hollow - By: TheLibrarian, 27 May 2008
This, along with the Blood Brothers are the 1st books I've picked up by Nora Roberts & my honest opinion is WHY? I found I couldn't put them down, usuallly I take approx 1wk per book, read both of these within this time limit, I just can't wait for part 3. I'm not a hardened thriller reader & I suspect if you are, these are light reading for you, however I found myself absorbed & there is a love story thrown in for good measure. Excellent.
Better than Blood Brothers - By: jazzy pom, 23 May 2008
This book is the second in the sign of seven Trilogy. In the first part of the trilogy, we met the three boys, Fox, Gabe & Cal who inadvertently awoke an ancient evil that terrorises the town once every seven years. In this instalment, we meet Fox & Layla. Fox's fight with the evil that skims the edges of the Hollow is more personal - & heartbreaking as a result. The tension in this book is cranked up a notch, as the stakes being played for are threateningly real. The malevolent forces seem stronger this time around, & you get the feeling that in book three, the characters might have a front row seat to the apocalypse.

You won't be disappointed with this book, but am looking towards book 3, since Gage has some serious issues that he needs to deal with.
An excellent middle chapter - By: Claire Maxwell, 11 May 2008
This is a fantastic follow on from blood brothers & was consumed in one night. Ms Roberts is a genius at trilogy's & this part concers Fox & Layla, as well as giving more insight into Gage & Cybil who will complete the trilogy in December. As always her dialoque between the characters will have you laughing one moment & swollowing a lumb in your throught the next, & as the six try desperately to defeat the evil, MS Roberts builds up the tension expertly that before you are aware of it, you are at the edge of your seat. My only question, Why make us wait till December till the end?
