United Tates of America is a great book about Skate Tate who is a scrapbooker that goes to Biddle Middle middle school. She is not very happy about the way everything is changing. But with GUM (Great Uncle Mort)a great traveller of the world & America to tell her about the wonders of life & guide her along the way,what could go wrong. But when a terrible tradgedy strikes she will have to put his teaching to the test.I reallly liked the book because I think it was written very well & mixed up with her ordinary life as well as the plot.There is also a brilliant scrapbook at the back which is reallly very funny. I would recommend it to anyone with a good sense of humour & a taste for advendure. Sophia 8 years old.
