Vampire stuff going on all over the deck - By: Mr. G. P. Schofield, 19 Jan 2005
A quick review then.

The game has its issues, the developers, Troika, obviously could not get as much from the Half Life 2 engine as they wanted, very few physics effects exist, some bad clipping occurs & there are a few glitches, but overalll, a fine game that will keep you enthrallled for hours.

The strategy guide is well produced ( as are most strat guides these days) full colour, glossy & very detailed, with some excellent screenshots. This guide will take you through every nuance of the story, pointing out interesting side facts along the way.

It does exactly what it says on the tin, get it, play the game with it open at your side, & reallly relish the chance to enjoy the game in alll its wonderful detail.

A good book, well written.

An essential aid to get the best out of the game - By: Amazonian Native, 16 Dec 2004
Vampire The Masquerade:Bloodlines, like it's predecessor - Redemption, could well prove very tricky to alll but the most experienced & patient Adventure game players, if you want to be able to move through the game seamlessly, in the correct order, & not miss anything, and without losing your humanity & violating the Masquerade, then this is an essential purchase to compliment the game, & ensures you will enjoy the game much more.

The book starts with a run down on the differences between the clans, so that you can make a better choice as which best befits your style & personality & how you'd like to play the game, & a run down on the disciplines each clan can use, their strong & weak points, & which character stats to build up first as you start out.

It also looks at the games weapons & gives gameplay tips, it has maps of each suburb, & has a listed breakdown of how many XP points you can get for each quest & side quest, & a very detailed walkthrough, with colour pictures, & concise written instructions, alll of this on glossy pages teaming with artwork. Like alll the latest game guides of late, the style of presentation is much easier to follow now, no more reading full pages of text with occasional smalll black & white pics that are hard to make out, reading this guide is easy & pleasureable.
