Life Lessons - By: Sandeep Gill, 19 Mar 2005
Yet another from the heart book by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. This book has such depth & yet remains concise. Whilst Kubler-Ross has previously emphasised on death & dying this book takes a slightly different pathway with much focus on how we live our lives today. Life Lessons does not offer a description on how to live your life, but offers a philosophical approach which i promise will make you think twice with the way you behave & the decisions you make daily (for the better). Once you start reading you'll find it hard to put the book down back down!!!
I knew this book would help. - By: , 30 Sep 2001
Having struggled with diffrent issues in my life, i am always open to books that involve looking at emotions that touch that deep place inside. And this book does that, i came across this book in an article in one of our national newspapers. The smalll excerpts that i read touched me so much that i had to get the complete book for myself.

This book is a healing balm. No one can take control for you, in life you make your choices, be they right or wrong, & at times life with alll its twists & turns, can be very hard. Yet inside these pages are people who have lived lives, who are in most cases seriously ill or dying, & the things they have to tell us are rare, full of love, kindness, trust & hope. To overcome the emotions of, bewillderment, anguish, fear is just so inspiring. This book will not make you a better or more deserving person, but in times of self introspection, when you feel that no one can possibly understand, & you feel alone. To read the pages in this book, & meet the people inside, to take what is offered, will give a sense of peace & love.

One of the best books I have ever read - By: , 30 Sep 2001
Life Lessons is one of those books that EVERYONE should read. It is a calll to alll of us to live deeper richer lives. Because so many of the thoughts & lessons are taken from individuals, who were near death, including author, Elizabeth Kubler Ross, each lesson is deeply inspiring & profound.
I used David Kessler's book "The Needs of the Dying" as my guide while my father was ill & it provided my family & I with great comfort. I also highly recommend it for anyone in that situation.

While both these experts are known for their work with death & dying, LIFE LESSONS IS ABOUT LIFE....... LIVING AND LIVING WELL.
Life Lessons has & will continue to aid me with my life, as well as those around me & I believe it will help me to live it more fully & with more appreciation. I have given out many copies as gifts to friends. Every one of them has come back & thanked me again after reading it. It has changed many lives.
