A true expose, with general interest for all - By: GB Fitness.com, 26 Jul 2006
As already said there are factual inaccuracies with some of the drugs etc (so please do NOT use this as a guide to use!) but the problem in sport is very real .... training athletes is part of my job & I will be suggesting that my trainers & clients read this as an eye opener ...

what could have been, eh?
Not Quite The Story It Could Have Been - By: T. Watson, 07 Feb 2006
This book tells the story of one man's journey through the ranks of his sport. It describes competitions where the author knew the men who had beaten him were cheats, examines drugs in sport from the athlete taking the drug's point of view, & debunks several myths about the supposed dangers of performance enhancing drugs.

And then it could have gotten interesting.

Once Reiterer enters the system, an amazing institutionalised support system for drug cheats is exposed. The problem is that Reiterer (or more likely his legal counsel) was unwilling to truly bring anyone other than himself down.

Despite this shortcoming, & some factual errors, this is an eye-popping account of a Western bloc athlete factory, & brings various "amazing" sporting performances over the years into a different light.
