Excellent insight as to how a person's mental capacity is assessed by both the legal & medical profession. Provides both legal points with relevant case law & a complete insight as to how the medical profession would assess mental capacity. For would be litigants it also provides a thorough insight into what the Court would seek in terms of evidence relating to mental capacity & the definition of mental illness under the Mental Health Act 1983. The responsiblity for assessing a person's mental capacity is a grey area but this book provides readers with the knowledge of who would owe such a person a responsibility & how they would carry out those duties
