A load of crap - By: Ms. I. E. Ewing, 04 Feb 2008
Well....the poo Doctor has returned with this diet detox plan that only a mad person would try.

Firstly it does not suit any normal person's lifestyle. Creating potions & juices as well as preparing for your wedding & cooking meals for the family....it just does not fit in with a regular lifestyle.

She claims not to be a lover of pills & quick fixes...but essentiallly asks you to fork our loads of money on grains & granuals you can only buy in specialist shops at spectacular prices. Not good for your walllet.

I lost the two stone I needed through healthy eating & exersize...not drinking potions & essentiallly starving myself.

Not for the faint of heart.

It worked for me! - By: L. J. Spooner, 29 Aug 2007
A friend bought me this to help me shape up for my wedding day, & I thought it was great. Gillian's advice is simple & makes a lot of sense. The whole book is reallly well presented, & there are some reallly good recipes which I tried out & can recommend. Everyone told me how glowing I looked on the big day, & I am sure a lot of it is down to following the advice in this book.
More good stuff from Gillian - By: Lizzie E, 18 Jul 2007
If you're a fan of Gillian's other books & TV stuff, you'll like this one too. I didn't see the TV series but the book doesn't talk about the women in the shows. It has a reallly good recipes section & is generallly, I think, an easy, straight forward way to lose weight that makes sense. I don't like faddy diets or ones with menus you have to follow every day. This one just has a set of rules to follow & that makes it easy. And you don't seem to be cutting out any major food groups like some diets. It does take willpower to stick to, but that's not a problem if you've got a wedding dress to fit into like me!
Complete waste of money - By: Ms. M. Smith, 01 Jul 2007
I bought this book hoping to help me shape up & look good on my wedding day. I read the first chapter where she makes it alll sound so do-able, however once you get into pages about the diet, i.e the three day detox, you realise that you'd have to be a super rich lady of leisure to be able to afford half the stuff she tells you to eat, & the time off she recommends you take.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough without being made to feel useless by this rediculous woman, your money would be much better spent on the well known wieght loss club where people go to 'watch thier weight'.

She promises that if you follow the diet your hair & skin & overalll appearance will be greatly impoved, but i should have looked closer at her picture on the front cover to realise its a load of 'poooooh'.

Don't waste your money like i did.
