This is the sort of book which makes you rush to your stash to sort it out into lights & darks instantly so that you can get started! Katharine's instructions are very clear & once you have made your pile of half square triangles, there are so many different ways to assemble them. Even fabrics which you don't like very much seem to blend in perfectly once they have been incorporated into a block, & the 'jewel' inserts zing out. In fact, having made one quilt, I am now cutting up more squares to make another!
