How coaching works - By: Robin Prior, 08 Dec 2007
With alll the books available on coaching it was a wonder to know what another book could bring to the subject. But 'How Coaching Works' manages to provide an overview of the different methods of coaching that shows clearly their common elements & makes it clear what is necessary to achieve results for the coachee. The word 'synthesis' comes to mind as this book is alll embracing & explains the past & present of coaching & makes educated predictions about the future of coaching. Another word that comes to mind is 'pragmatic' as this book is easy to read & understand, & the examples are alll evidence based rather than theoretical. This is valuable reading no matter what your interest in coaching is, from the beginner to the expert.
