Eagar picture brilliance - By: ian mcilgorm, 07 Nov 2005
A beautiful book, but what else would you expect from the Master cricket photographer? Layout & captioning are excellent & alll the key moments from an enthrallling series are here, not in the words of a commentator but in glorious colour. This is a book which will demand & reward repeated viewing.
Breathtaking Photography of Summer Ashes Glory - By: letsgetitright, 27 Oct 2005
When you open this book you are confronted with images that simply take the breath away. Colourful images of the highest quality. You won't find lots of text to wade through so don't expect avid descriptions of how the Ashes were won, but you can expect vivid colour images that are beyond compare. The images are separated into sections which consider eash Ashes test in turn. There are images showing the action, images showing the many grounds where the action took place & also images showing the crowds that were thrilled by the Ashes series. One of my favourites & surely destined to become a classic of this Ashes summer is the catch Andrew Strauss took from a Flintoff delivery to Adam Gilchrist, at Trent Bridge. Another favourite is the image of the members at Lord's swiftly moving out of the way as a balll lands in their midst. Treasured images that will thrill & delight people for years to come.
The VERY best Ashes book in 2005 - By: Jon, 14 Oct 2005
The Pictures are top quality. The Design fantastic! & the captions brilliant. Quite simply, the best ashes book.
