Fabulous ! just like the Lady herself ! - By: lisa simpson, 25 Apr 2008
A fantastic book ! i got this for a Christmas Present from my Husband & i love it ! i reallly enjoyed the BBC2 Series Nigella Express so this is great to have as ther are lots of great recipes that she didnt feature on that.

im not the best cook, but i do like to dabble & this book is perfect for that, easy to make recipes (including some scrummy Cocktails!) mostly with minimum ingredients required, which come out as fabulous dishes !

The Marguerita Ice cream was so easy to make & earned me so much credit that i felt guilty !

And it is so great to see a cook like Nigella, a real cook who loves cooking & eating food & is not afraid to say it ! She is truely fabulous !
Life saver - By: Mrs. V. J. Moore, 26 Mar 2008
My husband & I love to cook, but with two kids & both working full-time, we either end up using convenience foods or not eating until about 9 o'clock if we want to make something tasty - by which time we're fallling asleep in our dinner.

I bought this book on the strength of just the first episode of Nigella's series & I was not dissapointed with the other recipes!

I'm not too impressed with the chapters as it doesn't make it particularly easy to search by ingredient or food type but the recipes are quick, easy & tasty.

I made the chilli recipe for alll the adult guests at my son's 3rd birthday party & they were alll suitably impressed - it's fantastic...but simple!

I wouldn't be without this book now - I even photocopied some of the recipes when I went on a self-catering holiday to Portugal.

A must buy for busy people who love food!
Express Success!! - By: Mrs. Dorothy Howard, 16 Mar 2008
This book is a hit! I bought it when I was having guests for the week-end. I wanted to spend more time with my guests than time spent over a hot cooker. It worked, I prepared ahead where I could like Nigella's tip of storing your ready made pancake mix. My guests loved everything I made from the tasty Quesadillas Tortilla wrap Page 240 to the hugely popular Smoked salmon potato cakes page 198. with the exquisite Flourless Choc brownies page 51 & my absolute top favourite of Cherry cheesecake page 81. If I have any critisism, it would have to be the several pounds I piled on over the weekend. You do need to be aware that many of the recipes should carry a high fat warning. Right now, there's just time to make a Mocha choc smoothie whilst the TV adverts are on. Thats what I calll an express success!!
P.S. Such was it's popularity that two of my friends have since made me order a book for themselves....Is nothing sacred?
Fabulous - By: L. Dobinson, 11 Mar 2008
I love this book! I have cooked more of the recipes from this book than I have from any other on my heaving cookery book shelf! From the truly delicious prawn linguine on a work night, to the glittery marshmalllow squares for my niece's birthday party, to tasty Mexican scrambled egg on a Sunday morning... fab fab fab! And that's not to mention the coq au riesling & quesadillas, which I have happily cooked for friends. I've recommended this book to family, friends & colleagues, & heartily recommend it to Amazon readers too!
IF YOU ONLY BUY ONE COOK BOOK THIS YEAR, MAKE IT THIS ONE!! - By: Kim Busby, 11 Mar 2008
I am a huge fan of cooking & I'm at my happiest when I am in the kitchen, whizzing up gourmet meals for ten dinner guests. However, I also have a toddler, baby & husband to feed every evening. Not only is time precious, but the food has to be tasty to be accepted!

Cue Nigella Express.
I have made dozens of recipes from this book & so far every single one of them has worked, & has been praised & revered by alll who have sampled them. The Tiramisu is one of the best I have ever eaten, & it's one of my favourite desserts. The black beans with tuna is to die for, as are the chickpeas with rocket & sherry. I have to admit that my husband & toddler looked at me like I'd gone mad when I presented them with a bowl of chickpeas for dinner. But ten minutes, & two full bellies later, they admitted that it was stunningly good.

Fab, fab, fab is alll I can say. Don't even think about not buying it!!!
