This book is absolutely fantastic because it gives you reallly pratical information of rituals of the most popular Buddhist sects of Japan. I liked a lot because treats the alll sects at the same level & gives you details very rare to find. If you look for example at the information on Shingon Buddhism it is very difficult to find the few books pubblished in English, here you find much more without the need to go to Japan. Rituals & information concerning the popular buddhism of the Nembutsu, Pure Land , Nichiren sects & Zen. This book is totallly different from the others because here you will find the practice of the religion, not only the philosophic aspects. PS sorry for my english, I am italian mothertongue.
