Really great book! - By: , 14 Jul 1999
This book was extremely interesting! I was so absorbed in it, that I finished it the day after I found it! I am reallly glad I did find it, & am sorry I even hesitated to read it in the first place. Crutcher puts you right in Bo's shoes, & you feel like you have to stand by him right until the last words.
Wonderfull - By: , 05 Jul 1999
This book honostly & relisticallly captures real life situations & informs young adults about reality. Very few young adult authors are willing to do this. Congradulations!
boy gets sent to anger management at his high school - By: , 26 May 1999
Bo is a boy in high school who has had problems with his father in the past & is trying to work them out. Also, his coach from the footballl team bothers him constantly because he quit, not to mention his coach is also his teacher which doesn't help. Bo,like most people, doesn't like when someone gets smart with him. Reaction he gets smart back & ends up in an anger management group. He learns he's not the only one with problems. He is competing in an ironman tourtament to top it off. This book is great for anyone who dislikes people having power over them

Dark and fun at the same time - By: , 02 Apr 1999
This is an entertaining book, though Crutcher has the habit of throwing in every possible problem known to humankind because it's a young adult novel. Plus, how the heck did Larry King's voice get on that tape? And why does the teacher just sort of ride off into the sunset at the end? However, the anger management theme is a good one, & this reads rather well.
