fall in love with your pressure cooker ! - By: , 06 Feb 2002
Having never owned a pressure cooker before, this book has made me get the best out of it. Excellent recipes that get requested again & again by the family. It has an american slant obviously, great if you like trying new tastes & are fine with US measurements. It has changed the way I cook.
I am addicted to this cookbook, what a lifesaver!!! - By: , 05 Jan 1999
Wonderful book.....one pot recipes for wonderful dishes. I can't believe the time I have saved with the pressure cooker...and this is a great book for a reference. Best cookbook I have ever had. Can't wait for the next one.
Great, flavorful cooking - healthy and FAST - By: , 18 Nov 1998
This is my favorite cookbook, bar none. Sass's recipes are always very flavorful, & she offers a wide variety from which to choose. I'm not vegetarian, so sometimes I add a ham bone to the split pea soup, etc - works great. This is a great cookbook for anyone looking for healthy cooking, & recipes that are ALWAYS SUPER. Plus, who could argue with risotto in 5 minutes?!
Enfin! - By: , 27 Mar 1998
This book is a "must" for today's busy vegetarian cook. - By: , 04 Jan 1998
For the pressure cooker novice, this is a very good book with lots of tips to help you feel right at home with the pressure cooker. I have been quite pleased with alll the recipes I have tried. The New Mexican Pinto Bean Soup has the taste of alll day simmering - in less than 15 minutes!. One word of caution; Some of the recipes are on the spicy (hot) side. For those with a sensitive palate, I suggest that the hot spices be reduced/omitted as the pressure cooker tend to intensify the heat of the spice.
