A classic - By: , 01 Oct 2003
The story of Sneezle is a pleasure to read. This is the first in a series & the sort of book that I would have delighted in as a child. It still works for me as an adult & I can't wait to read this to my own daughter when she is old enough to understand it & I know she will enjoy reading it to her own children. I consider this book an heirloom to pass down & hope my great great grandchild(ren) will treasure it too.

The pictures consist of photographs of the "dolls" created by Wendy Froud. The detailed backgrounds, featuring the natural world, & the beautiful faces of the faeries are exquisite. All have an organic quality to them. The book makes you want the world of fantasy to cross into the world of reality so that you can give the hero of the tale, Sneezle, a very big hug for being so adorable & brave.
