Loved it - By: Lindy Addams, 28 May 2007
This is one book that I have read & re-read time & time again, so much so that the pages are fallling loose. It is a brilliant book, the main character Leah is so likeable, as are the leading men - ooh it was so tempting to want her to leave Wesley for Justin! There were enough twists & turns in the plot to keep your interest - this is one that you won't be able to put down once you have started it. Also, it is nice to catch up with some of the charcters from Sweetbriar, infact in that book I recalll we meet Justin as a little boy. Can recommend this!
Great Novel - By: , 29 May 1999
i loved the characters & how Leah knew she loved Wesley. Unconditionallly almost. Wesley was such a major jackass at the beginning with Kimberly that i wished Justin beat him up, but as the story goes on he learns to appreciate Leah & love her. I didn't like Kimberly either, but you find out that, she's actuallly pretty nice, she was just brought up, & pampered & a little slow.
Great book.. - By: , 19 Feb 1999
I enjoy this book very much. Leah was just wonderful, i mean she had to put up with Wesley & the way he treated her. And how Justin fallls for for Leah which made Wes jealous. I kinda wanted Leah to go for Justin but then again Wes won me over w/ his charms. I recommand this book to everyone. But first read the other books about Wesley's brother Travis & Regan in the Lost Lady i enjoy this book very much, & the other one is Clay & Nicole in Conterfeit Lady, very great books. I hope u will enjoy it as much as i did.
My favorite of the James River Trilogy books - By: , 12 Feb 1999
The hero of this book -- like the other James River Trilogy books -- was a jerk at times, but in the end, you see that he does grow to love Leah. I loved the beginning especiallly, when the two couples from the other books in the trilogy take in Leah & transform her into a beautiful lady. Too bad the guy can't originallly see past his hatred of her to realize how much she has to offer.
My favorite James River book. - By: , 27 Dec 1998
After reading "Counterfeit Lady" & "Lost Lady" I would have to say that this is my favorite out of the three. I love the whole plot of promises made in the past, then going through with it later on in life. Although at times I got reallly made at some of the characters in the book, I think that it was good to have them so bitchy & mean, because in the end, the good guys always wins.
