This is my favorite book. I have read it several times over the years & am on the last chapter again. It is a well written, easy read. It has alll the elements - fantasy, a quest, love, sorrow & horses! I even considered callling my son Hal but my husband refused!

This book is one of the best I have ever read with magic,mystery,adventure & fun its got a brilliant mixture of everything, you just don't want to put it down. Its about 2 young men on a quest to kill evil & return magic to Isle the imagination of Nancy Springer is immense. It never gets boring, I think this book was superbly written & I would reccomend it to everyone.
