A Book Every Woman Should Read - By: , 21 Feb 2005
I brought this book whilst on holiday in Jamaica & could not put it down until I had finished it. No other non-fiction book has so moved me. Iyanla Vanzant is a truly remarkable woman whose life lessons will resonate in the spirit of every woman who has ever questioned the choices she makes in her life. I cried too as I read the process that Rhonda went through on the way to becoming Iyanla. This is a must read.

Read, relate, reconcile and heal! - By: alex.price@free.fr, 28 Feb 2001
I actuallly Bought this book for my daughter as a Christmas present, because we heard Iyanla reading her title poem on the Oprah show. I was so moved by it, that I knew I had to have the book. My daughter loved & understood it, & enjoyed the lessons herein - but when I read it, something quite dramatic happened. Every page was about me. Every anguish, pain, distress, anger, sadness & frustration Rhonda experienced, blared out at me. This was me. I could not put this book down. Now, I know there are those who did not relate to the experiences in this book. I feel happy for you, & am glad you discovered this. But if ever you have felt pain & anger through the cruel & thoughtless actions of another human being, & can't find your way past the pain & anger you still feel, this book will help you find it in yourself to forgive, let go, & open a new fresh chapter in your life. Iyanla - & others like her - deserve our gratitude for being willing to work hard & produce these books. Without them, an awful lot of people would still be in a dark, distressing & hostile place. She is one of the "torches" that can help us find our way.
This book changed the way I looked at things - By: , 08 Feb 2001
This book was so good that I sent it to 4 other people that I just knew it could not fail to help. Page after page was an eye opener & revealed why things happen in life & how to look at them. It stopped me feeling so guilty about everything.I realised that everything was not my fault & that I had been conditioned to feel this way. It also taught me that what I have always done was correct. Pick yourself up & just get on with life & yes it does alll come out well in the end. With a lettle help you can make it so.
Theraputic!!! - By: bebesisa@yahoo.com, 26 Nov 2000
This book is Theraputic. It helped me to understand & love myself. If you are looking for a self discovery book , this is the one. I like the fact that Iyanla Vanzant talked about her life & then discuss her problems, the solution & most of alll the will power to want to evolve. This book will be my gift to alll of my friends & family for christmas. You will not want to lend your book, because it will become your life long reference. If you are thinking about getting this book, don't think just get it!!!!
