marganne from Shoreham, England - By: M. A. Dennis, 20 May 2007
It is not often I feel compelled to write a review of a book, but I have to say this is a book that hooks you from the start & you just cannot put it down ! Sam & Jaine are brilliant hero & heroine, they compliment each other so well, the humour they share with each other just hit the right note, & with the added bonus of a crazed killer after Jaine & her friends because of their "List" then you are in for a lovely read. I was sorry when I had finished the book, I was enjoying that much. Certainly a five star book for me!.
Loved it! - By: darkhunter, 22 Feb 2007
I have only just started to read Linda Howard, as I was running out of good books, & I am reallly glad I did. So far I have read about five & counting, & I have to say that Mr Perfect was brilliant. The hero was gorgeous, rough, ready & completely male, which lets be fair, is how we like em! I loved Janie, & agree without other reviews of Linda Howards books, that she generallly writes an independant & fiesty heroine. The inter play between the two was funny & touching, & by the time they ended up in bed I was using another book to fan myself with!
The action was good, & alll the characters meshed reallly well. It rambled along at a good pace, & I for one will be putting it on my keepers shelf. Also good by this author are Shades of Twilight (it actuallly made me cry, which was impressive) & Dream Man.
I can't recommend this highly enough!
not as good as i thought - By: loves to read, 15 May 2006
Hoped that this would be as good as linda howards other greats Mckenzies mountain & open season but to be honest was disapointed with the charachters. The book was not one of her best
Sizzling chemistry - By: , 21 Jul 2005
I loved this book, & have re-read it several times. The chemistry between Janie & Sam is great, they reallly strike sparks off each other. The one liners between them are brilliant & you can reallly feel the passion between them. The storyline is trully suspenseful & the killer of the "List" ladies is creepy beyond belief(which I liked). Sam is my kind of hero definitely alpha male but humorous with a reluctant caring streak. Janie is a strong character who is sassy & independent & gives as good as she gets. This is one of my favourite Linda Howard books- definitely a classic.
Gutsy,hilarious heroine; fabulous "perfect"hero- - By: , 09 Nov 2003
well, what more do you need ?
We've alll been there- an email written just for friends escalating out of control...Jaine & her friends draw up a list of attributes for the perfect male. The whole thing escalates into a media frenzy ,thereby triggering a psychotic killer....alll the while Jaine doesn't realise that her Mr Perfect is right underneath her nose & that she will be needing his help very soon...it's witty, well written,so hilarious at times I was laughing out loud -I thoroughly enjoyed it & would recommend this book- it's definately a keeper.
