An Essential Read. - By: Kocoa, 23 Sep 2008
I would actuallly rate this book as 10 out of 5. I couldn't put it down & read it in two days. Souljah is very poetic & descriptive in her writing & as a black woman it reallly touched my soul. Although I think that anybody could read this, I truly believe that it is an essential piece of black literature & any young person caught up in the whole drug game NEEDS to read this.

This was the first book i ordered on Amazon & trust me it did not disappoint. From the moment i picked it up i literallly could not put it down, i was worse than a junkie on crack!! Sister Soulja clearly carefully thought out every little detail because from the story line to each character, & even in terms of how the book is written it is alll on point. The only critisism i had for the book is it that it had to end.
But i must warn whoever is into them fairy tale ending stories where the characters alll go through a hard time & then come out the other end living happily ever after should not read this because like real life not everything turns out for the best in the end.
Overalll i would 150% recommend this book to anyone looking for a entertaining & excellent book.
The best book Ever! - By: Shaniqua Ahmed, 01 Apr 2008
This book is great, it is one of them books that you read in a night as you just do not want to put it down. Ok so maybe it is unrelistic but sometimes unrealistic works out great!
