In this book alll the lines are written to perfection. Buffy Is in a mueseum with willow & willow cut her finger on the ancient japanese sword & is possesed by a chinese socerer. Xander is possesed later on by a Japanese warior god & starts fighting Buffy when she is taken over by the chinese socerer. Eventuallly buffy & angel are attacking each other but angel finds a way to stop the gods & transport them back to the sword. angel & buffy fans who want them together well read on. The way I have written this is probably a load of gobbledy gook but go & buy it. NOW.
Gripping! - By: sarahwombat@aol.com, 13 Apr 2001
Would have made an excellent series two episode although the scenes in China & Japan would have cost millions to film. Superb characterization -just like watching Buffy on telly!

This is an excellent Buffy book, along with the gatekepper trilogy it's one the best. if you've read any of the others - or even if you haven't then you MUST read this one - chris & nancy are the best!

I have ordered lots more Buffy books cause I absolutely love 'em, & the TV programme. Blooded was the last one I read, & it is a "Must read" book, it was one of my favourites. It had a reallly good story line, & it was great to read about lots of involvement of Willow, Xander, Angel, Giles, Cordi, & other freaky evil beings!
Wow! Wow! Wow! - By: , 30 Dec 1999
Blooded what can I say? I basicallly loved it! I've got & read alll the other Buffy books (except the one's not released!) & this is by far my favourite. The main reason is coz I'm a die-hard Buffy & Angel fan, & I'm kinda sick of the whole angst issue of their love. So it was nice to read about them being 'normal' for once. Plus I loved the way Willow was brought in & made a main charecter, it's nice to focus on somebody different for a change. Plus I liked the way it was wrote using the way that they talk in the actual series. I have to admit though it was hard to place it somewhere on the Buffy timeline but I think what you've got to realise with the whole Buffy thing is that you've got to let your imagination run free & expect the unexpected. It was a good book & I recommened EVERYBODY to read it, more of an adult Buffy book then young adult book or whatever, coz I think it'd be hard to understand that whole swap thing from Sunnydale to China & so forth. Anyway enjoy!!!
