The two tapes cover basicallly every major learning technique there is, & because of this it is great value. What you don't get are exercises where you can practice the techniques. You have to make your own notes as well. The beginning of the tape begins with Brian pausing* every few seconds* whilst he* speaks. I don't know if this is deliberate (using the Lozanov superlearning technique) or not. Well worth the money.

I was sceptical about how much this tape could teach me, but it blew me away. Don't just listen to this tape in the car, as you'll want access to pen & paper to take notes. After listening to the tape I was eager to put as many of the techniques into practice as possible. There is no psycho-babble & alll the advice & techniques are presented clearly & concisely. Well worth the money.

I found these techniques to be reallly useful & recommned them to anyone who wants to learn a new topic. I applied some of these techniques to a book I was reading & found that I reallly got inside the subject & could remember the whole book almost line for line upto a week later, I don't think I'll ever forget anything in that book! You should buy this audio book on this visit to Amazon you won't regret it.
