Fantastic book about Roy Chapman Andrews,who if you live outside the USA is a rather unknown adventurer/fossil-hunter.What a fantastic life he led ,just one of his Expeditions would be enough of an adventure for most people ! A real must read book about the man who inspired Indiana Jones ?

This book is fantastic, for any would be adventurer & explorer this is a must read. Even if you just have a passing interest in Zoology and/or exploration you should read this book. I was totallly engrossed in Roy Chapman Andrews explorations in the unknown. It gives you an idea to the mans life & 1920s American society. It discusses drove him as well as giving an insight to evolution. It is written in such a non-pretentious & readable way that even somebody like me with little knowledge on the subject found it interesting. They say he is the man whom Indiana Jones was based on & you can see the similarities.

Let yourself be engrosed in this mans stories & then you too can dream of adventures in undiscovered places!
