I first read this book as a young teenager & remember it shocking the hell out of me because of its content & the author's no nonsense writing style. This is the kind of story that everyone growing up should read because it tells us that daring to be different is not only acceptable but reallly is the way to go. Evie shows us that it's okay to be ourselves.
